I am a multi-lingual mental health professional with a diverse, international training. I am comfortable holding sessions in English, Spanish or Croatian. My main focus is supporting individuals, children and families. I have worked in children’s hospitals and in centers focusing on early intervention of psychosis and prevention of eating disorders with adolescents. My goal is to help children, individuals, and families become happier and more satisfied with their life and their relationships.
I can help you overcome the obstacles and difficulties you face in communication, in dealing with emotions, thoughts, social functioning, and learning. Implementing small changes in your behavior can make a big difference in your relationships with others. In suggesting changes, I keep in mind the importance of the entire system surrounding an individual – so I would remain aware of your relationships with others (family, friends, colleagues). I would help you discover the strengths within you and help you identify the obstacles preventing you from getting where you wish to be.
Most of my work has been in the public health sector and preventative care. I am currently providing education for parents going through divorce. I was trained primarily in Spain, Chile and Croatia. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Zagreb (Croatia, EU), and a Master’s degree in Child Neuropsychology and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain, EU). I am a licensed psychologist in Croatia (EU), as well as a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (EU) and an international affiliate member of the American Psychological Association.
