Stephanie R B Lewin, LCSW, LSW, MSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work with individuals to obtain mental, physical and holistic health wellbeing and provide supportive services. I am interested in working with adults and youth with a range of needs, including everyday life stressors and changes, as well as severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency, in a clinical/private practice setting. I am also interested in the effects of trauma and stress on an individual’s mental health, behavior and resiliency. My goal is to promote mind-body connections, individual healing, the development of healthy families, and community strength through the provision of a culturally relevant mental health practice.

Originally from Northern California, I graduated from San Diego State University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2015. In 2020, I earned my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, Specializing in Behavioral Mental Health. With a background in Community Based Case Management, I specialize in a variety of therapy modalities and techniques, including a strength-based perspective, task-centered treatment, person-centered therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, and cognitive and behavioral therapies. I utilize mindfulness to promote a mind-body connection, motivational interviewing to improve change behavior, and work to enhance client’s positive coping skills to improve their functioning in different social environments. I believe we are not defined by our past, and that we can make lasting changes to improve our futures and work toward goals of self-improvement.
