Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Aloha! My name is Kaleleonalani Napoleon. I was born in ʻAiea, Oʻahu and raised in
Kailua, Oʻahu. I received my education in Hawaiʻi Nei, America, and Internationally.
Implementing my love for my culture and lāʻau lapaʻau, my initial career trajectory was
to receive my Master of Science in Ethnobotany. My ongoing desire to assist people
with healing eventually led me to obtain my Master’s degree in Social Work.
Working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in emergency, inpatient and psychiatric
settings has made it possible for me to assist many individuals, couples and families to
address and heal the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression and to address and recover
from chronic health issues.
In the pursuit of my own healing and growth I hold firmly to the belief that traumatic
memories can be stored in our conscious and unconscious, remaining for long periods
of time in our actual bodies. Understanding this in my own practice and supporting
others to find balance and peace of mind has been the greatest privilege of my life. I
believe that the secret to life is finding silver linings in all of our experiences! This
begins with learning how to embrace all of our trials, tribulations and traumas, while
learning to be grateful for life and everything in life.

“Everything that has happened to you was also happening FOR you.
What happened to you can be your power!
We cannot move forward if we are still holding on to the pain of the past
and wishing it was something else.” Oprah Winfrey

Unfortunately, this important life skill is not taught in school. Additionally, few of us are
blessed to have role models to teach us to embrace all of life. Instead, we waste
precious time, judging whether a situation is good or bad, rather than embracing it as
part of our life experience.
I believe that trauma and generational trauma can be healed with the appropriate tools,
hard work, and loving, compassionate, empathetic guidance.

“Letʻs work together to find your silver linings so you can discover and embrace the
best you!”
