Christina Jamila, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Aloha-

Born and raised in Kailua on the island of O’ahu, I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Psychology and Sociology and then earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Hawai’i Pacific University. My experience includes over 25 years of working with incarcerated youth, unsheltered youth, children in foster care, behavioral health intensive case management in the community and private practice. People often say that I am non- judgmental and easy to talk to. I believe that behavioral health is just as important as physical health and it’s important to focus on the whole person. My approach in therapy is to focus on goals of the individual and to empower and support them through change so that they can achieve personal satisfaction and growth. Thank you for having the courage to seek help and allowing me to help you along your journey.
