Zephyr
Therapy Bird
Zephyr "T. Birdhead" Ewing is the companion of Dr. Xenia Ewing. She is a cockatiel and a rescue bird, so her exact age is unknown, though she is thought to have been one or two when she and Dr. Ewing first met in 2018.
Zephyr has extensive experience with being a therapy bird, having accompanied Dr. Ewing as a postdoc doing psychological testing. Zephyr helped out by breaking the ice and being a calm presence. Her in-person work days are behind her for the time being as she now assists with Dr. Ewing's teletherapy appointments instead.
As a therapy bird, Zephyr is always happy to be an example of taking up space, communicating wants and needs, and listening to your feelings. In her free time, Zephyr enjoys taking naps, foraging, getting head rubs, and shredding paper.
