Aloha! I’m a mental health counselor licensed in Hawaii and Massachusetts. I’m a Music Therapist–I earned a Masters from Lesley University in Expressive Arts Therapies–with eight years of experience working in the mental health field. I help individual adults struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, distress, or life difficulties that require help to sort through. I support your self expression, tension reduction, and fostering healthier connections with the people in your life. Currently all sessions are conducted online.

Music has always been a major focus in my life. I come from a family of professional musicians and I earned a music performance degree as an undergraduate. Music is a bedrock of my Native Hawaiian community, providing a connection to heritage and a common language to share. Music and the Expressive Arts in general also enlarges the tool chest I bring to mental health counseling–I’ve seen it open doors that remain otherwise closed, be it with children, teens, young to middle-aged adults, or seniors.
