Clinical Psychology Intern
Currently pursuing his doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Chris is completing his clinical internship at Honolulu Psychology Collective. His therapeutic foundation is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), delivered through an integrative, trauma-informed lens that honors each person’s story and strengths.
Chris works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting and co-parenting challenges, and life transitions. He blends CBT with person-centered, family systems, and mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring therapy to each client’s goals, values, and pace. He has a special heart for Hawaiʻi’s military community — service members, veterans, and the spouses and children who serve alongside them — and his doctoral research focuses on the experiences of children raised in military families.
Chris believes healing happens in relationship, and that every person carries within them the capacity for resilience, growth, and meaningful change. He is honored to walk alongside his clients as they take that first step.
